Trail Report Announcement Date: 01/19/2017 RRR snowmobile only trails. trails located in Marinette ,Peshtigo, Porterfield, Crivitz and Wausaukee areas.
RRR trails are officially open......however.....CAUTION !!! rrr trails are in poor condition. warm weather is keeping the groomer off the trails. riding is NOT recommended. warm weather/rain is predicted thru the weekend and into next week so riding conditions will only get worse……will update when weather turns back to winter.
Details for the Club Overnight Ride to Carter Casino Announcement Date: 01/18/2017 The club overnight ride for Saturday, January 21, is ON regardless of the weather. We are being optimistic that we can still ride or you can come by car. Here is the plan: DEPART AT 9:00 am from Chuck Panske's house (Porterfield) on Trail Number 3 about 1/4 mile south of Hwy G and meet in Crivitz. Or DEPART AT 9:30 am from Timberline with Terry and Russ and meet in Crivitz. At 10:00 am depart from Crivitz. In Crivitz meet on the trail by the Shell McDonald’s right at the New Life Church parking lot. Arrive at Noon at DJs Rocky Top Crooked Lake for lunch 15506 County Road W, Crivitz (715)276-1799. Arrive by 3:00 pm at Carter Casino. Bring your swimming suit and enjoy food provided by the club in the adjacent party room. Carry ins are not allowed in the party room. Check in is at 4:00 pm and check out is at 11:00 a.m. Hope you can join us.
Ice Warning bay of Green Bay Announcement Date: 12/24/2016 If you fish, operate a snowmobile, all-terrain vehicle or otherwise recreate on the bay of Green Bay during periods of ice cover, please be aware! Shipping channels will STAY OPEN throughout winter 2016/2017. The Coast Guard will establish and maintain tracks through the ice from Rock Island Passage to the Fox River. The tracks through the ice will extend to Escanaba, Marinette-Menominee, Sturgeon Band and Green Bay. Prior to each ice breaking, a 72-hour advance notice to the public will occur via broadcast notice to mariners on VHF-FM marine radio channel 16, 21, or 23 as well as public outreach through media notification and social media outlets @USCGGreatLakes on Twitter and on Brow County Sheriffs Offices Facebook page. Porterfield Trail Outcome from Dec. 14 Mtg. Announcement Date: 12/19/2016 We would like to thank all our members who attended the Porterfield Town Hall Meeting last Wednesday, December 14, 2016. Because of the good attendance and the well spoken comments, the Porterfield Town Board agreed to continue the same designated road routes as last year, which means that trail access through Porterfield will continue. This was a good example of how important it is to be involved as a club member. Thank you again!!!
Upcoming club events Announcement Date: 12/07/2016 Join us Saturday, January 21, 2017, for our club overnight ride to Carter Casino. Come by car or sled. We will stop for lunch. Details as to where to meet and what time will be emailed to our members and posted here as the date gets closer. the drawing will be Saturday 1-28-17 at heritage inn (hwy 180 & JJ in Wagner) at 3pm. 1st prize is choice of 2017 550 indy or 2017 Polaris sportsman 450 4x4. (purchased at Cozzy's Polaris, Marinette). 2nd prize is $200. 3rd prize is $100. 4th-9th are $50.

The River Road Riders Snowmobile Club invites you to ride our Marinette County snowmobile trails in beautiful northern Wisconsin. We feel that our trails are some of the best in Wisconsin. We have two groomers that groom 170 miles of trails. Our area covers from the Bay of Green Bay to Peshtigo, Crivitz, Middle Inlet, Wausaukee, Marinette, to Koss Bridge, around Lake Mary and Lake Noquebay. After the experience of riding our trails, may we suggest that you join our club.

Trail Boss Chuck Panske is busy readying trails for riding and is in need of many volunteers. Work will be continuing on the trails on most Saturdays and Chuck is needing help with the trail work.
